Who can deny that dessert is everyone’s favorite “meal” of the day?  We would be lying if we said that we all didn’t love some sweet treats.  Whether we eat them as snacks throughout the day, or solely for dessert after dinner, dessert always tastes delicious.  One of my personal favorite sweet treats is chocolate chip cookies.  They have been a favorite of mine since I was little.  Put a plate of chocolate chip cookies in front of me and I will keep eating them until I have a stomach ache.  They are definitely one of the yummiest of all the desserts!

However, there is one problem that we all face when we want to buy, and then eat, chocolate chip cookies: they have a lot of calories and they are not that good for you. In an age of people who are constantly trying to lose weight, get in shape, be healthy, and eat clean, it’s hard to find sweet treats that are “good” for you.  Now we can all relax!  This recipe is not only for regular chocolate chip cookies, but fudge chocolate chip cookies.  And get this, they are only 68 calories each!  The secret is that the cookies are flourless.  Removing the flour from the recipe cuts down the calorie count by almost half, reduces the amount of fat in the cookies, and removes the gluten from the recipe as well.  Now you can eat a delicious cookie and not feel guilty about it afterwards!
